When I started taking improv classes in 2014, I was the only one who I knew involved with improv. I saw it as a fun activity to break up the routine of life. Now on our campus, we work with doctors, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, librarians, medical geneticists, physical therapists, palliative care team members, and countless others to help grow the use of improv at our institution. In addition to breaking up the routine of life, we’ve seen improv help participants to improve communication and to find more joy each day. We would love to discuss how we can help improv grow at your institution!
